Hi there! I'm Carley, and I work at Etsy. I love fashion and clothing, especially secondhand and sustainable pieces. I created this directory after attending what felt like a hundred weddings in my late twenties and early thirties. Every invitation brought the same question: "What do I wear?"

I spent countless hours researching where to find the perfect dress - something appropriate for the dress code, flattering, ideally sustainable, and within budget. I bookmarked dozens of websites, compared prices, read reviews, and slowly built a mental map of where to shop for every occasion.

This directory is that mental map, organized and shared with you. From budget-friendly finds under $100 to designer splurges for black-tie galas, from sustainable brands to rental services - it's all here.

I'm also the creator of the Vintage Wedding Dress Directory and several other wedding-related resources, because apparently I can't stop going to weddings or thinking about what to wear to them.
